Property Caretaker for Storfors Municipality

Storfors Municipality works to create safe, functional, and sustainable environments for our residents.
As a property caretaker, you will play an important role in our efforts to manage and develop the municipality's properties – from schools and preschools to housing, sports facilities, and office spaces.
Responsibilities
As a property caretaker with us, you will have a varied and independent job. Your main responsibilities include:
- Supervision and maintenance of the municipality's properties and outdoor environments
- Simple repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Daily rounds and inspections of properties
- Handling of fault reports and communication with users and operations
- Maintenance of green areas, snow removal, and ice control as needed
- Collaboration with technicians, contractors, and internal operations
- Contributing to safety, service, and a positive approach in contact with residents
Qualifications
The tasks require an educational level equivalent to high school with a suitable focus, e.g., property caretaker training or other experience deemed relevant by the employer. We prefer that you have experience in property maintenance, knowledge in plumbing, electrical work, ventilation, or control technology, computer skills, and technical knowledge.
A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.
Experience in operating green area machinery/property machinery and/or a driver's license for a car with a heavy trailer (BE) is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have a license for a wheel loader.
You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
